RELEX’s 2026 State of the Supply Chain report (500+ leaders surveyed) found 67%
are more confident in AI than last year, and 71% plan to invest in generative AI – up
12 points. Yet only 10% trust AI to make critical decisions unsupervised; 54%
prefer a hybrid model where AI recommends and humans decide. Agentic AI is
gaining ground specifically in purchase optimization, always-on IBP, and root
cause analysis.
