NVIDIA enters the PC CPU market with RTX Spark – a 1-petaflop superchip co-built with Microsoft to “reinvent the computer” for the agent era

What it is
At Computex 2026 (June 1, Taipei), CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the RTX Spark Superchip
a Grace Blackwell system-on-chip combining an Arm CPU, Blackwell GPU, and up to
128GB unified memory, capable of 1 petaflop of AI compute. Launching this autumn
across laptops and desktops from Microsoft, Dell, HP, ASUS, Lenovo, and MSI, it is
NVIDIA’s first direct push into consumer PC processors. Huang compared it to the
smartphone revolution and described agentic AI as the new interface for PCs, replacing
40 years of mouse-and-keyboard interaction. NVIDIA also confirmed its Vera CPU for data
centres now in full production, with Anthropic.
Why it Matters for Enterprises
NVIDIA moving into the PC CPU space signals that agentic AI is the next battleground for
the entire compute stack from data centres to laptops. For IT and procurement leaders,
RTX Spark means the next PC refresh cycle could be the one where on-device AI agents
become a native capability.
