OpenAI Brockman: enterprises have a compressed window to catch up on AI security

What it is
OpenAI president Greg Brockman used the Hugging Face incident to urge enterprises to speed up AI-assisted security defenses. He demoed the point on his own site: ChatGPT running GPT-5.6 Sol found 13 vulnerabilities in 15 minutes, then fixed most of them in an hour – DNS gaps, outdated jQuery, unencrypted traffic. He’s calling on security teams to adopt agentic tools incrementally, starting with read-only scans before advisory and live triage.
Why it Matters for Enterprises
Attackers will get AI-assisted tooling whether or not defenders do. The defender's window is open now, and it's closing as open-weight models catch up to the frontier.
