• A large-scale manufacturing and distribution enterprise operating multiple inventory organizations and sourcing from a network of internal and external suppliers relied on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to manage Sourcing Rules - the configuration layer that determines supply fulfillment strategy across organizations, suppliers, and item categories.
• Accurate, auditable, and repeatable Sourcing Rule maintenance was essential to keeping supply planning reliable, particularly as frequent supply strategy changes, new item introductions, supplier onboarding, and network expansions drove growing volumes of rule creation, updates, and deletions that Oracle's standard EBS forms could not efficiently support.
• The organization partnered with Rapidflow to design and implement a staging-driven, bulk automation framework for Oracle EBS Sourcing Rules and Assignment Sets, replacing manual, form-based maintenance with validated, auditable, and repeatable rule management at scale.
